I have profiled Berliners and interviewed them about their passion projects, such as photographer Gavin Evans and mural artist Jim Avignon. In March 2024, I wrote a feature about Verena Brüning's photo book Windsbraut, chronicling her transatlantic journey on a traditional sailing vessel. After Brüning won the Daylight Photography Award, the Guardian covered the story in August 2024, lifting language from my article.
I also review concerts, plays, restaurants and exhibitions, and have written about activism surrounding New York City's prison ship, Berlin's African Quarter and the war in Ukraine.
